Poorboys Spray & Wipe

Poorboys Spray & Wipe is an innovative water-based product that features an advanced blend of emulsifiers, surfactants and oils that enables you to clean your car without the need for buckets or a hose. As the name suggests, you simply spray and wipe! Bridging the gap between traditional shampoos and quick detailing sprays, the high lubricity of this product helps to protect painted surfaces as you wipe them clean, minimising the chances of adding fine scratches. However, it is important to note that this product is only designed to remove light accumulations of dust and road spray between normal washes - it is not a replacement for traditional shampoos and you would be unwise to use it on a really dirty car. To further minimise the chances of adding fine scratches when cleaning without water, we recommend using Poorboys Spray & Wipe in conjunction with a deep-pile microfibre towel such as a Poorboys Mega Plush Towel. Although effective on dirt and grime, this product is gentle on all exterior surfaces and will not strip or degrade existing wax or sealant protection. The high lubricity of Poorboys Spray & Wipe also makes it ideal for use as a lubricant when using a clay bar.

Werkstat Autobody Wash

Werkstat Auto Body Wash is, in our opinion, one of the best car shampoos currently available. While often overshadowed by the more glamorous polishes and last step products of the detailing world, the car shampoo is possibly the single most important product you use on your car. A car shampoo needs to be sufficiently slick to allow your wash mitt to glide over the surface and also needs to emulsify and encapsulate dirt particles safely and effectively so that they can be wiped away without scratching underlying surfaces. A car shampoo should also be gentle enough not to strip away existing layers of wax or sealant protection. Werkstat Auto Body Wash was formulated with these requirements in mind, using only the finest ingredients from the cosmetics and surfactants industries. The highly lubricated formula was specifically developed for use on finishes protected with acrylic and carnauba-based last step products from the Werkstat range, and adds a degree of water repellency to surfaces that other shampoos simply cannot match.

Ken's Note - As I get to use all the shampoos we stock on a regular basis, its easy to forget how great some products are when you don't get to use them all the time. This is one of those products. Every time I get to use it again ( I rotate through all of our soaps) I am reminded of how fantastic a product this is. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
