Werkstat Autobody Wash

Werkstat Auto Body Wash is, in our opinion, one of the best car shampoos currently available. While often overshadowed by the more glamorous polishes and last step products of the detailing world, the car shampoo is possibly the single most important product you use on your car. A car shampoo needs to be sufficiently slick to allow your wash mitt to glide over the surface and also needs to emulsify and encapsulate dirt particles safely and effectively so that they can be wiped away without scratching underlying surfaces. A car shampoo should also be gentle enough not to strip away existing layers of wax or sealant protection. Werkstat Auto Body Wash was formulated with these requirements in mind, using only the finest ingredients from the cosmetics and surfactants industries. The highly lubricated formula was specifically developed for use on finishes protected with acrylic and carnauba-based last step products from the Werkstat range, and adds a degree of water repellency to surfaces that other shampoos simply cannot match.

Ken's Note - As I get to use all the shampoos we stock on a regular basis, its easy to forget how great some products are when you don't get to use them all the time. This is one of those products. Every time I get to use it again ( I rotate through all of our soaps) I am reminded of how fantastic a product this is. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Raceglaze ph Neutral Snow Foam

We may not be first to market with this type of product and we've tried a few out and taken note of what the professionals say. So, we've made our own! Brand new in November 2010, just when you don't want to dip your hands in a bucket of freezing water, this very clever formulation is highly concentrated (offering twice the diluation ratio of some other products) and is PH neutral - did we say that again? To soften bugs, mud and salt deposits and road film, while not removing wax is the key and for this you need a non-TFR based foam. We also wanted a really thick, dense clingy foam of small bubbles - big bubbles won't put product in contact with the surface, and it to only slowly fall off the vehicle. We think we've cracked that too. Size isn't everything - a big 5 litre bottle may look impressive but there's a lot of water in there to bulk it up. We made ours thick and concentrated so you don't have to store 2 gallons at a time! And this means we can ship it anywhere as its also safe and economical to do so. For enthusiast users with 1 or 2 cars, your 1 litre attachment bottle will do 3-4 cars before you need to add more concentrate. 500ml of concentrate will foam around 30-40 cars! You do not need to buy 5 litres! But we do have a 2.5 litre size for the pros - coming soon!
